Letter To Our Members
Please let this communication serve as notice of Governor Wolf’s announcement and the response of the Home Builders Association of Bucks & Montgomery Counties (“Association”) as it relates to the COVID-19 outbreak. Last evening, Governor Wolf announced that all ‘non-life-sustaining’ businesses close their physical locations in Pennsylvania effective 8:00 pm Thursday, March 19, 2020 for an undetermined amount of time. Enforcement for non-compliant businesses will begin 12:01 am Saturday, March 21, 2020. Governor Wolf’s Website Obviously, this mandate directly impacts our Association and its members’ businesses for the foreseeable future. With that in mind, we kindly ask that you consider the bigger picture with this decision. We are hopeful that these seemingly drastic actions are what is required in this difficult time to ensure a timely and mitigated conclusion to this threat to human health and safety.
