Keystone Green Building Initiative

The Keystone Green Building Initiative ™ is a program developed to promote and facilitate practical approaches to green construction. Our goal is to help leverage this important trend and provide tools to implement green building strategies for builders and to help market green homes to the public. This program is based on the NAHB Model Green Home Building Guidelines. You can find the latest news about the KGBI at http://www.thegbi.org/residential/featured-projects/keystone/. The Keystone Green Building Initiative meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at 3:00pm.

National Green Building Standard gets ANSI approval! (more information)

On Jan. 29, the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) approved the National Green Building Standard™ for all residential construction work including single-family homes, apartments and condos, land development and remodeling and renovation.
